RSS21-2-1 with Jesus meditation/monolgue
[we used ambient music with this which gave it a similar effect to the 1-2-1 tv adverts for orange phones. The track we used was "V-At" by Tarwater, but lots of other tracks would work just as well]
The person I’d most like to have a one-to-one with is Jesus.
I’d ask him…..well what would I ask him? - where could I start?
I’d ask him if he was sure of his destiny.
And I’d ask him if he had any idea the impact his life was going to make on the world.
Maybe I’d ask him what it’s like being the Son of God - but perhaps that’s a silly question.
I’d ask Jesus exactly how his dying on the cross saved everyone who believes.
I’d want to ask if I believe enough to be saved.
I’d ask how can I be sure?
I’d ask what is it really all about?
I’d ask for faith - not faith that can move mountains, just faith enough to know I’m right in what I believe.
And I’d ask Jesus to pray for me.
But most of all, if I could have a one-to-one with Jesus, I think I’d just say thank you Lord. Thank you for giving your life to save mine.
