intercessory prayer using newspaper cuttingsbefore the worship photomontage scenes from local and national newspapers were created at the rear of the worship area by the congregation . articles, pictures and words were roughly torn and stuck down onto large boards . these were then positioned upright and used as a focus for intercessory prayer in the worship

lighted candles were shared amongst all present who were then invited to take their candles to a photomontage scene and where they feel prompted say a prayer and leave their candle as a sign of sharing God through prayer.

a variation on this is to have newspaper cuttings scattered around the worship area . the congregation are invited to select a cutting which prompts them to prayer and place it on the altar . personal prayers can be said whilst selecting a cutting or whilst at the altar
